Prefect Mission Statement

We as prefects will strive to present ourselves well, show confidence through our communications, not be hypocritical, have a positive attitude and show an assertive approach to the student body. We will do this by wearing the correct uniform, attending all lessons and form times punctually, having a cheerful attitude to all students and teachers and putting our words into action. We will ensure that our actions are well known around school to show our development and a strong team bond.

The Senior Team is made up of 8 people:

Head Girl: Quite self-explanatory, the position with the most responsibility, BUT the best badge. If considering a position as Head Girl keep in mind that your school work would need to be kept relatively up to date constantly to avoid being over-whelmed later in the year (not a pleasant experience).

Senior Deputy Head/Deputy Heads: Main duties include helping out at school events and organising Assembly Duty.

Sports Captain: Main sports organiser.

Deputy Sports Captains: Help out at Assembly duty, and organise and contribute to most sporting events.

Colour Prefects:
A colour prefect will have be one of a pair that has a year 8 form assigned to them, which they will be expected to visit weekly to check on how they are doing in the school.

Hospitality Prefects:
Main duties include helping out in school events.

Community Prefects:
Help organise school events, particularly the annual talent show hosted by and starring the Community Prefects.
