Key Stage 3

Year 7: Daily Lives and Beliefs
A chronological journey from the Medieval World to Modern Times focusing on human experience and beliefs.

Year 8: Power and Protest
British, European and World History focusing on religious and political conflict and how people protested for equality, democracy and civil rights.

Year 9: Conflict and Cooperation
A relevant and challenging course looking at world issues including terrorism, culture clash, World Wars One and Two and cooperation since 1945.

Britain 1939-1975: the impact of World War 2 on women and children, the NHS, Immigration and the changing lives of women and teenagers since the 1950s
Russia 1905-1941, The Cold War (causes, Cuban Missile Crises, Vietnam)
