On Tuesday 9th February the Friends of Davison School held their fundraising event, 'Style Evening'. The FODS transformed the school hall into a beauty salon, ready for students, their mum's, aunties, grandmothers and friends, to come along for an evening of fun and pampering. They were able to enjoy mini manicures, mini make ups, eyebrow waxing, relaxing massage and hair styling tips. Members from Worthing Health Trainers joined us for the evening and had a stall full of information and advice on how to lead a healthier life.

We would like to thank all of the beauticians and hair stylists who participated in 'Style Evening' and gave their services and expertise for free. Beauty students from Chichester and Northbrook Colleges manicured nails and gave mini makeovers. Hair Stylists from the Richard John Academy created beautiful hair styles. Without everyone's support and generosity 'Style Evening' would not have been possible. Many of these ladies are former Davison girls, who jumped at the chance to help their former school.

There was a fabulous raffle with top prizes of gift vouchers worth £25.00 and a beautiful nominations bracelet donated by VJG Jewellers. The evening was great fun as everyone enjoyed trying out new ideas for hair and make-up and gained knowledge and information on healthy living. We raised £350.00 towards our new school project, which is to build a canopied area in between the MFL and Science blocks.
