When girls join Davison they are introduced to the Christian ethos of the school through the Flexiday programme. In a day dedicated to the meaning of the school motto, Ora et Labora, they very quickly learn what it means to be a Davison girl. In Key Stage 3 the emphasis is on learning about a variety of world religions. Year 8 is dedicated to learning about the founders and faith of Christianity and Sikhism. The girls are taken to a Sikh Gurdwara during a Flexiday in March each year to experience the Sikh faith and community.

Year 9 explore the monotheistic religions of Judaism and Islam and compare these faiths to Buddhism.

At Key Stage 4 there is a move away from different religions to learning how beliefs help to inform decision making in life and society. All students take the Edexcel Short Course GCSE Religion and Life course. Modules are based on the Christian teaching about marriage and the family unit, community cohesion in society, matters of life and death and why some people may or may not believe in God. There is an opportunity to extend their learning with a full course GCSE in Christianity or Islam.
