Davison has been given an excellent opportunity to raise the status of girls in Science, by being invited by GlaxoSmithKline to be one of four Worthing schools involved with a 10 week STEM project. Twelve Year 9 students took part in the launch of the GSK project 'Energising Your School' on the 14th May.

They are now working with GSK scientists and engineers, looking at potential ways to improve energy use at Davison. The GSK project is currently running as an after school club where the students are working with their GSK mentors in researching and producing their 'Energising your school' report, ahead of the final competition and presentations at GSK Brentwood on the 10th July.

YU - Out of Hours Learning at Davison - where learning is fun!

YU this Summer Term!
The Youth University at Davison will be running courses on two Saturday mornings in June ~ Saturday 15th and Saturday 22nd June from 9.30am to 12.30pm. Each course costs £12.50. More details are to follow about the exact courses on offer on these mornings.

YU SUMMER SCHOOL!!
Our very popular Summer School will be held on 25th, 26th, 29th, 30th and 31st July. We are currently planning all the exciting courses for these five days and will put information on here as soon as we can. Please register your interest for our Summer School by emailing YU@davison.w-sussex.sch.uk.
